Overview

Ice-Free Cooling Workstation systems are bench top cooling workstations that provide sample cooling or freezing without ice, electricity or batteries. Ice-Free Cooling Workstation systems are versatile and accommodate a variety of sample formats and temperatures. The modular design enables the use of Thermoconductive Rack sample modules to hold microfuge tubes, cryogenic vials and more.

- Operates without ice, batteries or electricity
- Keeps samples cold at a uniform 0.5 to 4.0°C for up to 10 hours
- Keeps samples frozen (<0°C) for up to 6 hours
Broad Compatibility
- Versatile: accommodates a choice of Thermoconductive Rack modules
- Small footprint ideal for use in the hood especially in keeping temperature sensitive solutions cold
- To extend the cooling/freezing duration, keep an additional Cooling Workstation Cooling/Freezing Cartridge in the freezer and replace the core as needed
How it Works: Ease of Use
- Freeze the Cooling Workstation Cooling/Freezing Cartridge in -20°C freezer
- Place frozen cartridge in base/holder
- Rest Thermoconductive Rack module on cartridge
- Module will equilibrate and maintain temperature via thermo-conductivity
- To extend the cooling/freezing duration, keep an additional Cooling Workstation Cooling/Freezing Cartridge in the freezer and replace the core as needed
