Single-Cell ATAC-Seq (scATAC-Seq)
Single-cell ATAC-Seq (scATAC-Seq) utilizes microfluidics and molecular barcoding to investigate chromatin accessibility in hundreds to thousands of individual nuclei from a single sample. This enables regulatory motif discovery, offering a deeper understanding of gene regulation. While traditional, bulk ATAC-Seq offers valuable insights into genome-wide epigenetic regulation, cells in heterogeneous populations are combined into a single transposition reaction – obscuring key chromatin signatures. For a single-cell multiomic approach, scATAC-Seq and single-cell RNA-Seq (scRNA-Seq) can be combined through an integrated data analysis framework to uncover novel biological features.
GENEWIZ’s scATAC-Seq uses the latest technology on the market: the 10x Genomics® Chromium™ and Illumina® NovaSeq™. As an early adopter of these platforms, our optimized workflows — including pre-submission cryopreservation and post-submission dead cell removal — maximize project flexibility, speed, and data accuracy while eliminating costly overhead and ramp-up time to expedite your research.
