DNA Sequencing - DNA and Primer Submitted Separately with Concentrations
Adjusted by Users (Pre-Defined)
This service applies to sequencing of plasmid DNA and PCR products. Follow our sample preparation guidelines to pre-adjust your DNA
concentration. GENEWIZ will add your primer or one of our free universal vector
primers to each reaction. In most cases, a small additional charge applies.
Your benefits include -
Analysis using ABI Prism 3730xl
DNA analyzers
Mixing of DNA and primer by GENEWIZ technical staff
Read lengths approximately 1000 bases and> 700 bases of Phred20 reads
On-line order submission and GENEWIZ CLIMS sample tracking
24/7 web-based data retrieval
GENEWIZ customer support is always available to discuss your project
Turnaround time -
Standard Service - Data reported within one business day after samples are delivered to GENEWIZ,
guaranteed!
Same Day Service - Data reported by 5pm EST the day samples are
delivered to GENEWIZ (by 10 am EST). Up to 94 samples per order, in most cases
a small additional charge applies. Note: For San Diego customers we offer a
local service that is next day from the day we pick up the samples. Same Day
service for San Diego is coming soon! Log in or create a GENEWIZ account
to get San Diego service information.
Submit your template and primer separately in 8-strip 0.2ml PCR tubes.
Primer Concentration should be at 5 pmol/µl with a minimum volume of 5 µl,
add 5 µl of primer for each additional sequencing reaction.

Please label both the DNA and primer tubes. Label your DNA tube
on the SIDE with the tube ID generated from your online order form. Cap your 8-strip tubes tightly with matching 8-strip caps. Please provide some cushion around the tubes to avoid any potential damage during shipping.
If submitting samples in 96-well plate format, please use
column-loading scheme (see the diagram below) and leave two wells for GENEWIZ
controls. Seal the plates with caps and provide some cushion to avoid potential
damage during shipping.
